The Government has been set targets to reduce carbon emissions. and through the Department of Energy and Climate Change it offers the opportunity to earn feed-in tariff for clean energy.
In basic terms it is an incentive to move away from dwindling fossil fuel which creates carbon emissions, and adopting newer, clean and renewable energy sources, such as approved solar panels.

The 'clean energy cash back scheme', feed-in tariffs are available through solar installations up to 5MW and a minimum lifetime of 25 years to both domestic and non-domestic property owners.

Further incentives have been created for every clean kWh generated and exported to the National Grid.

The feed-in tariffs are only available through approved solar panels and MCS accredited contractors.
